A few months ago, I organized all my craft supplies and personal memorabilia (to be scrapped) in what I thought was the most brilliant system:
Boxes under my desk. With fancy-schmancy masking tape labels.
Yarn was all balled up in one huge basket.
And basically, everything was in constant disarray.
But as I mentioned in yesterday's post, now everything is organized a little differently.
Yarn is organized according to color in one of my favorite little dressers.
I am tying vintage keys around each handle on this chest. The color of the ribbon and the color of the swarovski crystal I glue on each key will indicate the color of yarn in each drawer.
And supplies/memorabilia are tucked in some awesome cubes I bought at a craft store.
I loved putting these drawers together because I got to use my electric screwdriver. I briefly pondered a career in construction, before realizing that I am probably not the worlds best candidate for daily heavy labor. Anyway, these pieces are purchased individually, stack able, and come in a variety of different drawer/shelf compositions. Some people have posted configurations that they have come up with here. I can't wait until I have a whole separate room for my studio and can stack them similarly. I have a feeling that the versatility that these things offer will make me happy with them for a long time to come.
Here's another newly organized cupboard. Some Etsy projects in progress go here, and my basket full of a blanket in progress is next to it.
Sorry these photos are a bit dark and blurry. Apparently my room is quite dark, even with an 800 ISO. I wonder if my room is naturally blurry too... : )

I've been such a negligent little blogger lately, haven't I?
Things have been pretty busy around here over the past few days. I've been re-organizing my room/studio, making tons of stuff for my FIRST EVER CRAFT FAIR on November 14th, and I have been working a lot at my "other" job.
Organizing my studio while there were so many other very important things going on may have seemed like a silly decision, but I am soooo glad I did it. Everything is so much more organized and looks so much prettier. I'm not the most super-est of neat freaks in this world, but the clutter had definitely gotten to me. It was making my mind messy when I really needed to be sharp and perky. I'll post pictures tomorrow, I promise.
Also coming up this week: some eye candy, some scrapbook pages, and a few handfuls of monster of the week on Saturday (because everyone loooves the house that gives them more than just one piece of candy).
Until then, I'll leave you with a picture of a pretty pink sunset.
Hasta!

These are some things that I might like to be for Halloween...
Drusilla or Darla
It would be really fun to be pregnant Darla (because what is more ridiculous than a pregnant vampire?) but I think that people would think I was Bella all night.
A bunny
A Super Hero
A Slayer
A Fairy
Which one do you vote for?

Thank goodness the only "-holic" status I can claim is coffee-holic. The worst that comes out of a coffee addiction is an occasionally shaky hand and a desire to knit tons and tons of cute coffee sleeve.
They are all available in the shop. Like, right now.

I bought this hoodie from Old Navy a few days ago, and I haven't stopped wearing it since. It's so soft and yummy, and flirty, and I got it just in time for the chilly, overcast weather to hit my town. (yay for fall!)
Wouldn't it look nice with this sweet headband? I found it in the Lupin Handmade shop on Etsy. (There's tons of other cute stuff in there too!)
And I loooove this key necklace from CorrieBerry Pie's Shop
What new fall clothes and accessories are keeping you warm and cute this fall?
PS- While I was shopping a few days ago (and buying my new hoodie!) I saw so many oversized flannel shirts and faux doc martens that I now have this official conclusion and announcement to make:
Angela Chase is back.
